Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumkin patch tonight, Hailee was a little hesitant at first but then cried when we had to leave! She loved pulling the little wagon around to collect pumpkins.

I know it's been a long time since I've writtien on here, so here are a few pictures of what we've been up to lately. We went to Disneyland in March . . . of course the second we finally walked into the park Hailee fell asleep! Her favorite thing was the playground there! But it was really fun.

We went to Georgia to visit my sister who just had a baby girl. This is my mom and her three granddaughters.

Oriana and Hailee are look so different, but they had so much fun together. Hailee called Oriana - nana and Ori called Hailee - EEE

This is the new baby Telesia, she's a cutie!

Hailee has always been really adventurous and doesn't get scared of too much but for a little while she started getting scared of things which is why she is begging to get off the freaky elephant at the zoo. I think she might be back to her adventurous self again, we went swimming today and she was crazy!

Speaking of pigtails, and girly hair We're having a baby girl! I'm due on November 19, Hailee's Birthday. So they will be two years apart. Hopefully they won't have to share a birthday. Anyway it has gone by really fast this time and we're excited. I'm trying to decide if we want two cribs. I want to buy another- Lance doesn't- our last one was given to us so maybe I'm looking for an excuse to buy a cute crib. Any suggestions? Anyway hopefully everyone is having a good summer I'm glad it's finally warm here-Actually BURNING HOT now!

Life with a crazy one year old!I walked away from Hailee for about two minutes and came back and this is what I found! She had dropped a ball in the toilet and went in to fetch it! Ha Ha what a cutie.

Hailee loved Christmas! She had fun opening her presents and got a little spoiled :)

This is Hailee's first time playing in the snow. She was a little nervous at first but once she realized she could eat this crazy white stuff, she loved it!
Don't ask me why he's in shorts and a tshirt and we're all bundled up. But he's a cute dad!

If you didn't know, since Megan and Neal don't update their blog (hint hint), Megan and Neal had their baby! She was born November 28. (I hope that's the right date) I'll let her tell the story, but she came I think 6 weeks early so we got to play with Kyle here for a few days. Hailee loved Addie, she just started waving at her and got excited when she saw her.

Hailee and Kyle had a lot of fun playing together, she would wake up every morning and start waving to the door waiting for Kyle to come in. We need him to come over again!
My sister and her husband and daughter came for Christmas, Hailee and Oriana had fun together. We had so many cute matching outfits with them together, but for some reason this is the only one I had on my camera the rest are on my sisters camera. We had a lot of fun over the holidays and are excited for this year. Hailee is getting so fun, she is starting to say a few words. She says no no, mama, dada, uh oh, nana (banana), and is saying new things every day. She now loves to do ring around the rosie and loves to dance to cell phone ring tones. So fun! On a side note - My little brother gets home from his mission in one month! Woohoo!

I honestly haven't thought of this yet. I don't think I can think of 5 right now, but I guess I would like clothes, a craft table, maybe a membership to the gym by my house, cute winter boots, and world peace :)
2. What is your favorite handmade gift you have received?
My bookshelf made by my mother in law, thanks Cheryl! It really looks as good or better than the pottery barn one!
3. What handmade gift have you always wanted to tackle?
Everything! I always want to make so many presents and then run out of time, but I would like to make my little sister some cute vintagey looking jewelry. Or some baby clothes for my neice, or some decorations!
4. What was the best Christmas gift you received as a child?
My dad made us this cute pink house to play with our barbies in! It had real carpet and wallpaper and was so cute! We LOVED it!
5. What items are on your kid’s wish list this year?
ummm . . . I think Hailee's too little for a wish list, but she probably would like an orange peel. Lance gave her one the other day and when I took it from her she had the WORST tantrum I've ever heard! That girl likes her oranges apparantly!
6. What is your favorite holiday food?
Sugar cookies, but I'm trying to lay off them a little bit this year. :)
7. What will you be hand-crafting for the holidays? I have something planned for Kyle, but I can't say on here or I would ruin the surprise! (hopefully I'll get motivated to do it)
8. What is your favorite holiday movie?
A Christmas story for sure! Wait ... maybe Elf, either one - I love both!
9. Favorite holiday song?
The drummer boy, my dad has this one version of it that he's obsessed with I guess it rubbed off on me.
10. Favorite holiday pastime?
So many great traditions! But one of my favorites was my mom would wrap up all our Christmas books and we got to choose one to unwrap every day of December and she would read it to us. I guess I need more Christmas books before I can start this one.

It's November?!

I can't believe it's already November! That's crazy! I guess I'm finally realizing that summer really is over and it's time to stop wearing flip flops and start embracing the fall, I love summer and wasn't too excited for fall, but now that it's November, we can get ready for Christmas! And Hailee's Birthday! Woohoo! So here are a few pictures from this month.

What's that? That's the money you could be saving with Geico! ha ha! So we went to a party friday night and both wore these, well at least til the yarn broke. I love stupid little pranks, so after the party, we went to a couple friends' houses in our neighborhood and left the money box on the porch and hid and played the Geico music. The first guy just laughed and made us do it again for his wife to see. The second kid we went to said "What the **** is that?" Then his wife walked out and said "That's the money you could be saving with Geico." Anyway, it was pretty funny! At least we thought it was so funny!

Hailee's first experience with one of those wind blowy things, she loved it!

My mom is starting a tradition of a Halloween party for the grandkids (she only has two so far) and it was really fun this year. My dad however isn't so much into the hosting parties and dressing up. Here he is behind the ball toss, doesn't he look like he loves it?!

The donut contest, I guess I really wanted to win, I'm the only one bent over with my mouth wide open! Megan looks like she is scared of the donut! I guess that's what pregnancy will do to ya.

It's About Time!!

I'M FINALLY UPDATING MY BLOG!

It's been so long, so I'm gonna have a picture overload here, but it's been a fun summer, I can't believe it's already over! :( I love the summer, this was our first year since we've been married that we didn't have to move across the country for Living Scriptures. It was SO nice not to have to pack up half our stuff and put it in the car and store the other half in a storage unit! I did really miss having the experience of discovering a new state, but it was nice to be home. So here are some pictures from my trip to OK to visit my sis and her cute little baby, her dad just got home from Africa for military after being there for 15 months! They were so cute together, they mainly liked to play with each others toys and not each other, but some day they'll be best friends!

I had to put this picture on here because Hailee went through this phase where she stuck her tongue out all the time! People would just laugh when they saw her because it was always out!

Here's my little sis graduating from High School, Crazy! Now she's down at good ol SUU, the best college! I guess it runs in the family to go there. (isn't she so cute, she just went on her first college date!)

We went to Lake Powell a couple times this summer, Hailee loved the sand, maybe a little too much because she was a little sick that night from eating too much.

Boys are weird :)

Again. . . boys are weird. Lance has this weird obsession with putting his head in any water that is flowing down, he was in Heaven right here.

We went boating a lot this summer, Hailee loves the boat but hates the life jacket, pretty bad combination, I think she looks like the kid on a Christmas story that says "I can't move my arms!"

I've been doing a few 5Ks this summer, I love them, it's such a fun atmosphere. This was with my mom and sister at the Lehi 5K. I haven't been running in a few weeks because I hurt my knee tubing, I was bored tubing with the girls so I went with the boys, and ended up with a partially torn MCL! At least I had fun on the tube! So I've been biking lately and it's actually been really fun!

Hailee has been climbing on everything lately, it's so cute! And kinda scary, the other day in primary she climbed all the way on top of one of the chairs and sat down!

Lance "had" to go to Lake Powell for a week for "work." I went for a couple days and hung out, he thinks he's so cool! ha ha

We had such a fun summer! Sorry about all the pictures I tried to not do very much but I had so many! Hopefully it won't be so long till I update again!

I need your advice!

I need your advice! I am going to visit my sister in Oklahoma in a couple days and am flying by myself with Hailee. I am so scared! She can't stand to sit still! Even for the one hour in sacrament meeting we have to let her play on the ground. There is no way she will just sit in my lap for the flight! Plus I got my ticket too late so I am in a middle seat in between two people, I hope they're nice! Do planes make babies sleep like cars do? Should I bring my boppy pillow to hold her on? Benadryl? Any other advice? Let me know what you think!
