It's About Time!!

I'M FINALLY UPDATING MY BLOG!

It's been so long, so I'm gonna have a picture overload here, but it's been a fun summer, I can't believe it's already over! :( I love the summer, this was our first year since we've been married that we didn't have to move across the country for Living Scriptures. It was SO nice not to have to pack up half our stuff and put it in the car and store the other half in a storage unit! I did really miss having the experience of discovering a new state, but it was nice to be home. So here are some pictures from my trip to OK to visit my sis and her cute little baby, her dad just got home from Africa for military after being there for 15 months! They were so cute together, they mainly liked to play with each others toys and not each other, but some day they'll be best friends!

I had to put this picture on here because Hailee went through this phase where she stuck her tongue out all the time! People would just laugh when they saw her because it was always out!

Here's my little sis graduating from High School, Crazy! Now she's down at good ol SUU, the best college! I guess it runs in the family to go there. (isn't she so cute, she just went on her first college date!)

We went to Lake Powell a couple times this summer, Hailee loved the sand, maybe a little too much because she was a little sick that night from eating too much.

Boys are weird :)

Again. . . boys are weird. Lance has this weird obsession with putting his head in any water that is flowing down, he was in Heaven right here.

We went boating a lot this summer, Hailee loves the boat but hates the life jacket, pretty bad combination, I think she looks like the kid on a Christmas story that says "I can't move my arms!"

I've been doing a few 5Ks this summer, I love them, it's such a fun atmosphere. This was with my mom and sister at the Lehi 5K. I haven't been running in a few weeks because I hurt my knee tubing, I was bored tubing with the girls so I went with the boys, and ended up with a partially torn MCL! At least I had fun on the tube! So I've been biking lately and it's actually been really fun!

Hailee has been climbing on everything lately, it's so cute! And kinda scary, the other day in primary she climbed all the way on top of one of the chairs and sat down!

Lance "had" to go to Lake Powell for a week for "work." I went for a couple days and hung out, he thinks he's so cool! ha ha

We had such a fun summer! Sorry about all the pictures I tried to not do very much but I had so many! Hopefully it won't be so long till I update again!

I need your advice!

I need your advice! I am going to visit my sister in Oklahoma in a couple days and am flying by myself with Hailee. I am so scared! She can't stand to sit still! Even for the one hour in sacrament meeting we have to let her play on the ground. There is no way she will just sit in my lap for the flight! Plus I got my ticket too late so I am in a middle seat in between two people, I hope they're nice! Do planes make babies sleep like cars do? Should I bring my boppy pillow to hold her on? Benadryl? Any other advice? Let me know what you think!

Crawling = Craziness!

Life has been a little crazy lately. Hailee just turned six months, I can't believe it - I've had this little girl for half of a year! Here are some pictures on Mother's Day, and yes I meant to match her ha ha

We've been using our little firepit lately. It's so nice being in Utah over the summer with our cool nights. Megan loves marshmallows!!

Hailee loves to be outside, when we're bored we walk over to this little park by our house, she loves the swing - and it keeps me sane!

I know I look like a geek in this picture but I love it because it looks like she's a puppet - you can't see my hand!

Lance has been going out of town a lot lately so I hang out with my family a lot, this is my cute little sister at her last track meet!

I have to use this jumper when I need Hailee to stay put in one spot. She has been crawling for the last few weeks and it definitely makes life a little crazier. But it's been fun and I'm lovin the warm weather!!!

Genius Baby

Hailee is a genius! (I hope I spelled that right!) One day I just went into her room and she was reading! JK I had to pose her for this picture I think right after I got it she started eating the book! I'm trying to teach her that books are for reading not eating but she doesn't seem to get it yet. Notice her mohawk, pretty sweet huh?! I don't know what to do with her hair. It's actually getting longer but you can't really tell because it's so blonde!

We went to the tulip festival a couple weeks ago. It's really close to our house and I've heard you can go running there before it opens, so I'm going to try that soon! It was fun to have someone so cute to take pictures with. Hailee loved it, it was her first time being able to actually play on the grass, she loves being outside. We look like geeks in this picture but I thought it was cute!

Hailee is so fun right now, she is just starting to kinda crawl, she looks real funny doing it but she can move across the room to get whatever she wants. She loves to laugh and smile and be around people. I try to hold her facing me, but whenever I do that, she pushes off of me so she can see everything that's going on.

I love this little girl!

Half Marathon! Woohoo!

We did the Salt Lake Half Marathon last week! It was really fun! I did the full marathon 2 years ago, so I thought this would be a piece of cake, but I guess babies can change your body quite a bit! Actually it was really fun and 13.1 miles is just the right length, not too long not too short. I just love the race atmosphere, all these crazy people just running :)

Lance, Neal and I ran it. Who knows how I talked them into starting running, but they did it and now they know why running is so fun! They're even thinking about doing the full St. George Marathon!

I ran with my friend Lindsey and her sister. It was fun to have girls to run with that like to talk instead of just listen to music the whole time like Lance.

And here he is . . . my cute hubby! I really am so proud of him! I've always tried to get him to run with me. I would tell him that all the politicians run, Mitt Romney, George Bush, etc. etc. etc. I think the Mitt Romney got him. Anyway, he said he would do it and he did! Good Job Lance!

Wiggly baby, Vegas, and more . . .

I don't know why I haven't put anything on here in a while, it really doesn't take too long, I'll be better in the future. But we've had a good last couple months, Lance has stayed busy working to recruit for Living Scriptures and Hailee and I have been having fun here at home, I can't wait till it gets warm so we can go play outside more often! Here are a few pictures . . .

Hailee is so wiggly now! The other day, I was on the computer while Hailee was playing on the ground in front of me and I looked up and she was all the way across the room under a chair! What a cutie!

Here is Hailee's crib. The doctor told me I should probably take the bumper off :( Any suggestions on where I could put this cute bumper?

We went to Vegas the other weekend with Living Scriptures, Hailee loved all the people and lights!

It was so fun to be able to go outside and not freeze like we do here in Utah, Hailee's first time in the pool, I don't really know if she liked it or not, she didn't smile or cry I think she was just really intrigued by the water

The other day she was rolling around on the floor and her binky got suctioned to her face, it was so hilarious! She just looked up at us and smiled.

My mom gave me this headband with some cute matching socks when I was first pregnant, and it's finally too small :(
